On the afternoon of February 18, 2025, Vice President Zhao Yan of China Classification Society (CCS) led a team to visit Shenghang Group for research and discussion on how to cooperate in promoting the use of new energy fuels in shipbuilding. The meeting was attended by Jiang Botao, Director of the International Operations Department of CCS, Hang Zhongjiu, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Branch of CCS, Heng Lin, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Branch of CCS, Xia Xin of Jiangsu Branch, and the company’s management team including Yan Zhenyong and Li Guanghong.

At the symposium, Vice President Zhao Yan listened to the reports from the company on the operation of ships, safety production, shipbuilding plans, and the operation of Shenghang Group’s first domestically-built liquid ammonia carrier. He gained a thorough understanding of the actual needs of Shenghang Group in shipbuilding and ship inspection. He stated that CCS would continue to provide comprehensive ship technical services to Shenghang Group and fully support the company’s development.
