With the end of the summing-up meeting of “Work Safety Month” on July 17, Shenghang Group's enhanced “Work Safety Month” campaign, spanning 62 days from May 21 to July 15, came to a successful conclusion. Based on the theme of “Everyone Talks about Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies: Unblocking Life Passageway”, the company added special hazard inspections such as “Fire Safety Inspection” to its activities, according to management needs.
The company’s General Manager, safety director, and departmental general managers led the way by visiting ships. During the “Work Safety Month”, the shore-based management team conducted a total of 52 visits to ships, covering all 40 vessels. They organized joint exercises with local maritime, dock, and fire authorities on board of SHENG HANG 008 and NAN LIAN 201 respectively, achieving excellent results. To further ensure safety and enhance performance, the management team actively interacted with regulatory agencies, terminals, and major oil companies.
The shore-based team conducted a variety of training and exercises during the “Work Safety Month”, including fire hazard inspections in the office building, fire and evacuation training, emergency evacuation drills, fire drills, and CPR training, all of which achieved excellent results.
During their visits to the ships, the company’s management team shared their own work experiences and had heart-to-heart talks with the frontline crew members, learning about their needs in work and life, listening to their feedback on shore-based management improvements, addressing their confusion in safety management, and providing guidance on future safety production work. During their visits, relevant leaders and supervisors conducted safety-themed training, system training, and SIRE2.0 training for the crew.
Safety management work has no end point, only starting points. Safety is always on the road.
