On August 14-16, General Manager Li Guanghong of Shenghang Group (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) paid a visit to Lianyungang and Rizhao for exchange visits. Inspecting and Guiding Work on the NANLIAN 5

At the Lianyungang Hongyun Shipyard, General Manager Li Guanghong, led a team to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the NANLIAN 5 undergoing ship repairs. Li Guanghong carefully reviewed the repair project and provided valuable suggestions on construction quality and safety management. He also conducted a special training session on safety management and safety culture construction for the entire crew of the NANLIAN 5, aiming to enhance safety awareness and operational skills to further ensure the safety of the ship management.

SIRE 2.0 Training and Crew Safety Education

Captain Wu Hai from Safety Supervision Department of the company conducted a SIRE 2.0 training specifically for the crew of the NANLIAN 5, aiming to help them have a deeper understanding of the upcoming SIRE 2.0 inspection requirements and prepare in advance for the inspection. This training was expected to help enhancing the vessel’s safety operation level and improving the performance in industry inspection.

Visiting Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration of P.R.C

General Manager Li Guanghong, also led the team to visit the Lianyungang Maritime Safety Administration of P.R.C and had in-depth discussions with the Vice Director Zhang Lei and other leaders. Both sides discussed a variety of topics, including the future development direction of the shipping industry, ship safety management, industry innovation, and the current situation and training system of Chinese seafarers. General Manager Li Guanghong stated that the company should continue to leverage its technological advantages and actively participate in the construction of maritime traffic management, fulfill its social responsibilities, and contribute to the development of the industry.

Audit crew dispatch service provider

General Manager Li Guanghong and his delegation conducted an in-depth audit of two crew dispatch service providers, Jiangsu Jinhang Human Resources Co., Ltd and Rizhao Huanyu Seafarer Service Co., Ltd. The audit focused on the service quality of service providers, management capabilities, the comprehensive quality of the crew and cooperation intentions and many other dimensions, aimed at ensuring that the dispatch service providers meet the company’s safety and quality standards.

 

At Jiangsu Jinhang Human Resources Co., Ltd., the audit team evaluated in detail the implementation of system construction, crew training and management. General Manager Li Guanghong stressed that crew dispatch service providers did not only need to have a compliant management process, but also need to continuously improve the technical training, professional ethics and safety awareness of the crew to ensure the safety and efficiency of ship management.

Subsequently, the audit team came to Rizhao Huanyu Seafarer Service Co., Ltd., strictly in accordance with the audit form to conduct a comprehensive inspection of its business processes, compliance operations and service quality. During the audit process, the team put forward corresponding improvement suggestions based on the observations found, to help the service provider improve the overall service level and ensure that the dispatched crew do not only meet the high standards required by the company in terms of technology and management, but also have the corresponding awareness of obedience and team spirit. In addition, the audit team put forward clear requirements for enhancing crew training and crew management.

 

Through the audit of crew dispatch service providers, the company has further consolidated its foundation in crew management and provided a strong guarantee for future high-quality ship operations.
